Secondary Glomerulonephritis

General Information

The cases of proven secondary glomerulonephritis e.g. lupus nephritis will be assessed together with the histological report of the renal biopsy. A follow-up examination should be done every 6 months. A standardized therapy for all of the centres is at the moment not previewed. For this reason the therapy is put under the code "99" and in the memo-place of the data management program a description of the exerted measurements is given.

SekGN Code 99

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

A subgroup of study centres (Universities of Düsseldorf, Essen, Freiburg, Ulm and Tübingen) participate in a phase-II study regarding immunoadsorption in systemic lupus erythematosus. The study protocol (Tübinger protocol) will be published on this site after approval by our local review board.
